The theater company "Pyromantiker AG" from Berlin opens affectionately for the material and cuddly toys collected in the course of the time a "tiny gap in the arena of the oblivion" (Henry Miller). Over 50 animals had begun, qualify and its numbers and feats to train itself for the „circus of the stuffed animals“. From throwing away so new life develops...
Arise: An Italian circus-trainer with small circus car: Direttore Rodolfo Gelantini, north German boy in girl dresses: Oliver Krause, a thrown away dachshund and each quantity of found cuddly animals. Everything connects one: They were offended, lost and forgotten. All have nothing and thus everything for a new beginning.
After the three main figures found to each other over many misunderstandings, true fireworks of circus attractions begin: Rope dance, Drills, trapezoid numbers, springboard and naturally clownerys. High point is the appearance of the high-wire circus equilibrist "Pavel" from Russia...
„The circus of stuffed animals“ received 1993 the Brother Grimm price of Land Berlin 1996 the AGORA Prix of ensemble in Belgium, 1995 the ASSITEJ-Prix for Marlis Hirche and was invited to the International festival of modern circus „CIRCA“ in Auch (France)
